Where do I start?

As part of the capstone journey, my professor wants us all to periodically post on a blog “to summarize and reflect on our passive and active research each week.”

At first, I found this to be somewhat off-putting. I thought to myself, “Is this really necessary?” I sat with this question for quite some time, and I’ve come to realize not only is it necessary, but it’s a critical part of this whole thing. I just hope I don’t end up eating my own words later on this semester.

I’m actually quite excited to continually post on this blog, documenting my progress and research for the project.

Some passive research I am doing included purchasing the book “On the Road” by Jack Kerouac. My professor recommended it to me. I’ve started reading already; I am very excited to really get into it.

I think that’s all I have for today. It’s pretty late; I should be off to bed soon.
