What is “Adventure” ?
A simple Google search will tell you that adventure is defined as “an unusual and exciting, typically hazardous, experience or activity.”
I recently went on what google would call an adventure. A few of my friends and I visited the beautiful of country of Canada. Most of the trip was just sitting on a tour bus. However, there were so many unexpected twists and turns, both good and bad, that make me feel inclined to define this trip as an adventure.
My friend Joe mentioned that his father works for a tour company that frequently makes trips to Niagara Falls. He said he could offer us discounted prices for the trip. There was no way we were passing. Moreover, there was no way that I was passing this up. The drinking age in Canada is 19. I am still 20. I immediately said yes when he told us. Next thing you know, I am on a bus to Canada with three of my very good friends and a bunch of Korean people who barely spoke a word of english.
Moments like these are what I desire. Unplanned, Spontaneous. Adventure.
