Feeling back on track after some difficult time.
I went to Wolfgang TIllman’s exhibit in MoMA. This exhibit kind of blew my mind. His photographs were very beautiful and disturbing and funny. The work really resonated with me, especially in regards to the work I want to implement in my project. There was thing about this exhibit that I kind of want to avoid in my project and that is the amount of photographs on view.
I felt sort of overwhelmed viewing the Tillman’s exhibit. This gave me a lot of insight into the exhibition of my project. I don’t think I want a lot of photographs to be displayed. I will most likely curate a specific set and alongside some, if not all photos will be a typewritten segment to bring my personal experience to the work.
